What is your type of business and what specific products and services do you offer the industry? A. Prime Produce International, LLC, is the fastest growing avocado packer and importer in the USA. We supply avocados year-round from California, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and New Zealand, marketing under the PRIME PRODUCE label, the H&H Label and our exporter's label. We offer premium avocados from our Packing Houses and Cold Storage facilities in Orange, CA, Hidalgo, TX, Pompano Beach, FL, and in Vineland, NJ. Q. Please provide a brief history of your company? A. Founded in 2004 by Avi Crane, PRIME PRODUCE INTERNATIONAL strives to provide superior quality avocados year round to our foodservice, retail and wholesale customers, while focusing on achieving competitive returns to our suppliers worldwide. Our commitment to integrity, devotion to customer service and focus on efficiency create the foundation for successful partnerships with our customers and suppliers. Q. How long have you been a PMA Member? A. Avi Crane has been involved with PMA for over 20 years. When Prime Produce International, LLC, opened its doors in 2004, he immediately registered and became a member of the Produce Marketing Association. Q. Why do you value PMA membership? A. As a member of PMA, Prime Produce is able to keep up to date on important changes affecting the dynamic produce industry, including the various economic, legal, and technological developments. PMA provides timely communications and reports and effective conferences and seminars where these issues are analyzed and discussed with the leaders of the produce industry. This allows us to better adapt to the changes facing our suppliers and more effectively meet the demands of our customers.
