Fresh Produce Academy for Operators, Distributors, Menu Developers & Chefs

Designed for Operators, Distributors, Retailers, Educators, Menu R&D and Chefs, the Fresh Produce Academy, facilitated by Chef Robert Danhi, features hands-on training for specific produce items and FPA-exclusive tours. Learn the latest fresh ideas and techniques for the selection, handling, preparation and use of fresh produce varieties.

Day 1 will start with a trends session with Chef Danhi and leading research firm, Mintel International Group, followed by a tour of Naturipe Farms’ blackberry fields, and feature hands-on training for citrus, chili peppers, and melons.

Hands-on learning is continued on the second day of the Fresh Produce Academy with a look at industry trends, then interactive training for mangos and sweet onions. Field tours on the second day will include visits to Ocean Mist Farms and Mann Packing Company.
