Target Freight Move-In

Consult your color-coded Target Freight Floorplan to determine the designated day for arrival of your freight. Strict adherence to this schedule will expedite the installation of your exhibit. It is your responsibility to notify both your display house and carrier of your target date. If you are unable to adhere to the target date delivery schedule and your material necessitates a direct shipment to the convention center, notify GES in writing of the requested date and time changes. Be sure to complete and return the Freight Service Questionnaire to GES Exposition Services.

If you ship your freight in advance to the GES warehouse (see Freight Shipment Addresses), your freight will be in your booth at 8:00 a.m. on your target date. This is one of the benefits of shipping in advance — your freight will be there when you arrive and you can schedule labor to work the full day.

If you ship your freight directly to the show (see Freight Shipment Addresses), your freight will be delivered to your booth on your target day, not a specific time. Your carrier may check in beginning at 6:00 a.m. at the designated marshaling yard (see Marshaling Yard Map). Please keep in mind that freight-receiving is an all-day process and it may take several hours for your truck to move through the marshaling line and for your freight to be unloaded and delivered to your booth. Please take this into account when scheduling labor for your booth.
