Best of Show Contest

Take part in the annual Fresh Summit Expo Contest! The contest will determine which booths are “Best of Show” during Fresh Summit. Judging will be conducted by a team of industry professionals, and first and second place prizes will be awarded in two categories:

  • In-line booth (10 feet deep and any length – pipe and draped)
  • Island booth (20x20 or larger – standalone)

Booths will be defined by their contractual relationship with PMA and will be considered as an aggregate of the total space purchased by that company. If a booth includes both an island component and an inline component, the entire square footage will be judged as an island booth.

How Will Booths Be Judged?

Each booth will be judged on the following criteria:

Booth Presentation

  • Integration of company identity into graphics and design
  • Quality, clarity and visual impact of graphic elements
  • Clear communication of a message to attendee
  • Adherence to show rules/guidelines.

Product Presentation

  • Creativity, thoughtfulness, uniqueness of Product Display(s)
  • Informative and /or benefit focused product messaging

Exhibit Personnel

  • Professional appearance/etiquette
  • Proactively engaging with booth visitors and attendees
  • Adequate staffing for size of booth

What Will Winners Receive?

Prizes will be awarded in each category as follows:

First Place

  • Announcement on the show floor
  • Recognition during Monday General Session including digital photo of booth
  • Two seats at a VIP table during the Monday General Session
  • Recognition in a PMA press release
  • Recognition on PMA’s Web site including multiple pictures of the booth
  • One complimentary full registration to Fresh Summit 2010
  • $250 GES credit
  • “Best of Show” plaque

Second Place

  • Announcement on the show floor
  • Recognition during Monday General Session
  • Two seats at a VIP table during the Monday General Session
  • Recognition on PMA’s Web site
  • One complimentary daily pass to Fresh Summit 2010
  • “Best of Show” plaque

When Will Judging Take Place?

Judging will take place during show hours on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. The winner will be announced on the show floor on Sunday, October 4 at 4:45 PM.

Will I Know Who The Judges Are?

No – the judges will remain anonymous, meaning you could be observed one time or several times over the two-day period, and at any moment – so be ready!
