Orange County Convention Center Info You Need to Know
This information is specific to the Orange County Convention Center and should be taken into consideration as you are planning your booth.
- The convention center consists of two buildings: Fresh Summit is located in the West building.
- Parking for exhibitors is available at the center at a daily rate.
- Who provides exhibitor services?
- Electricity, plumbing, rigging, air, water, and lighting are handled by the Convention Center.
- Internet, phone, and networking are handled by Smart City.
- Labor, refrigerated storage, carpet, furniture, and cleaning are handled by GES.
- Utility boxes (electricity, plumbing) come from the floor. If you will be ordering electricity/plumbing, be sure your booth set-up allows easy access to the utility box.
- Cooking in your booth: you must submit a cooking notice and you are required to have a 2-A, 10-BC or 2-A, 40-BC fire extinguisher in your booth.
- Vehicle in your booth: please contact show management at showmanagement@pma.com.
- Balloons in your booth (if they are your product): you must submit a balloon agreement.
- Multi-level or Covered Exhibit: you must review the guidelines and submit plans.
- Sales tax: There is a 6.5% sales tax in Florida on all exhibitor services, please budget accordingly.
- Florida is a “right-to-work” state: review the Exhibit Labor Jurisdictions to find out what work your company staff is permitted to do during set-up/move-out.
