Over the past 60 years, PMA has grown from a converted barber shop headquarters – with just a few members, convention attendance of one hundred and a budget of thousands – to a global trade association serving more than 3,000 member companies in 45 countries around the world.
As PMA collaborates more deeply into the marketplace, we constantly seek new ways to provide value and connect members throughout the global produce and floral industries. We believe that by sharing best practices and ideas – be it people connecting with people or people connecting with ideas – our industry will only grow stronger and more innovative.
Fresh Connections events held in the United States and around the world, from Chile to Mexico. These events bring PMA education and networking to your backyard and help you get more value from PMA and learn and network with your fellow members.
PMA's wealth of consumer and industry information is designed to help you be more competitive and successful in the global produce market.
PMA’s first affiliate, PMA Australia-New Zealand Ltd., provides benefits and services tailored to the needs of the regional market, with a focus on building new networking opportunities; creating forums to share information on hot topics, and talent attraction, development and retention.
Through the generous contributions of our Gold Circle members, PMA is also a proud supporter of the Center for Produce Safety at the University of California, Davis. The exciting research being funded by the Center provides real-world answers to global and produce-specific food safety questions.
