Eating by example

Together, as an industry, let's eat by example and lead the drive to increase produce consumption. It's free, it's fun, pledge now!

With your support, soon we’ll all be
Eating by Example!

We all know how wonderful produce is: Its diverse flavors, exciting applications, and fun colors make it unique. As produce people we are fortunate to work with it for a living. And as such, we lead the charge to make sure everybody enjoys great tasting fruit and veggies every single day.

We propose an important part of increasing produce consumption is leading – in this case eating – by example! We have the opportunity and the power to show everybody how it’s done. So let us all, as produce businesses, come together and lead the way. Sign up (you won’t be alone), and serve more fruit and veggies at your company meetings, meals, events, and celebrations.

So now that you agree it’s a great idea: Sign up and commit to provide more delicious produce at company/industry events. It’s easy.

Simply:

  1. Get the OK to sign up for your company, and check the list to be sure your company isn’t on it yet.
  2. Fill out the pledge form on the right of this page.
We’ll email you your Eating by Example certificate and tips so you can start right away.

Who We Are

Six passionate produce professionals recognized an opportunity for companies to lead the drive to increase consumption. We formed a team to drive Eating by Example’s conceptualization and development.

We are graduates of the Produce Marketing Association Foundation Emerging Leaders Program (PMA Foundation ELP) and produce lovers!
