For over 11 years, Meghan’s passion for fresh produce sourcing has been a driving force in her pursuit of a dynamic career in the industry. Growing up in Monterey, CA surrounded by family farms, she discovered her calling in produce at a young age. For the first half of her career, Meghan worked in foodservice before making the transition to retail. She is currently the Senior Sourcing Manager of the East Coast for Sprouts Farmer’s Market and throughout her tenure, she has led the company’s east coast expansion through creating strategic sourcing strategies and sustainable grower partnerships to provide the freshest produce at the best value for their customers. Along with her career accomplishments, Meghan has been commended for her leadership by the PMA and SEPC on several occasions. Meghan also sits on the Sprouts Farmer’s Market Woman’s Development Board and is just as passionate about the advancement of women in our industry as she is about produce. She is a graduate of Fresno State with a degree in Business Management.

It has been a 16 year journey for Mimmo with Longo’s; from produce clerk to Director of Produce and Floral; Mimmo’s love for produce has been felt by many. Mimmo’s mission is to bring Longo’s guests all the flavors and experiences that the world’s crops can offer.

Mimmo has been integral to continuing to build sustainable relationships with growers to ensure Longo’s delivers the freshest and finest produce, regardless of season. He has extended this philosophy to the leadership of his team, from conducting farm tours, both locally and in the USA, and continuing to enrich the knowledge and passion of his team.

A leading expert in consumer-centered marketing research, Brian possesses more than 25 years of in-depth experience working with organizations in the food, supermarket, wholesale, retail, trade association, and nonprofit sectors. Some key areas Brian consults on include consumer research, stakeholder feedback, voice of customer programs, industry benchmarking studies, and public relations efforts. Brian is a well-known commentator, who appears regularly in a variety of publications, as well as presents at and facilitates sessions with retail and food industry audiences. Brian served as the chair of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Consumer Market Research Committee for many years and remains actively involved with the National Grocers Association (NGA). He earned his M.A. in Communication Studies and his B.A. summa cum laude in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota, as well as holds Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) from the Insights Association. Brian co-authored the book “Feedback Rules!”, published by Brigantine Media in 2016.
