What’s New This Year:
When Fresh Summit gets underway in Orlando, FL, USA on Oct. 18-20, attendees will enjoy a new experience, including “Forums for the Future”, Experience Extensions, refreshed receptions, and more. This means there is a lot of new information and content for you to cover, and we want to help you be as informed as possible on that.
Forums for the Future: Fresh Summit’s “Forums for the Future” will present four big voices from inside and outside our industry, talking about four big topics that are important to our industry. These high-profile professionals have proven track records inspiring others, making good decisions under pressure, being pioneers and entrepreneurs. These large sessions will bring together the fresh produce and floral community from across the supply chain to engage, be inspired and return to your businesses motivated.
So far the following voices have been announced for the event, keep an eye out for the announcement of our fourth, and final, big voice:
Peyton Manning, two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback & five-time NFL MVP
Cathy Burns, CEO, Produce Marketing Association
Greg Williams, transformative trends expert, editor in chief, Wired magazine
Leslie Odom Jr., Tony award-winning actor and musician
Experience Extensions: In-between the Forums for the Future, we have scheduled time to extend the experience. Connect with peers, join industry leaders in informal conversations about hot topics, or just take a break. We’ve got some exciting announcements coming about these extensions; watch for that news in the next semi-regular update email.
Refreshed Receptions: The receptions at Fresh Summit have undergone some new and exciting changes that will enhance how you experience the event.
Welcome Reception: Every year the industry comes together for a night of connections and fun at the Welcoming Reception at Fresh Summit. Don’t miss this year’s reception on Thursday, October 18 from 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm. This year’s reception will be a Global Street Festival where you will feel transported around the globe with food and drink specialties and festivities from diverse parts of the world.
Floral Flamingle Reception: On Friday night, Oct. 19, the floral community is invited to the Flamingle Reception to enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, and networking with movers and shakers. The 2019 Floral Marketer of the Year Award, which honors lifetime efforts to advance and improve the mass-market floral industry, will be presented at the reception.
