How to Apply for a Showcase


 Review the options below and submit this application before August 23 to be included in the printed directory. Shelves are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited. We usually sell out by mid-July. 

Showcase Information

Exhibitors have a variety of options to best showcase their new product/service:

  • Standard Showcase:
    • Shelf Dimensions: 35" W X 16" H X 11" D (Dimensions in the floral units are 48” W x 21.5” H x 19” D or  
      24”W x 33 ½“H x 19”D )
      Prices: Members: $750 ǀ Non-Members: $1500
  • Standard Shelf with Electricity:
    • Shelf Dimensions: 35" W X 16" H X 11" D
      Prices: Members: $800 ǀ Non-Members: $1600
      Please note: all shelves are already lit with tube lighting. The electric upgrade is only if you need an outlet.
  • Refrigerated Showcase:
    • Shelf Dimensions: 23" W X 15" H X 20" D
      Prices: Members: $1000 ǀ Non-Members: $2000
Showcase Categories: In addition to the main showcase, we have a variety of branded sections to highlight specific trends. Exhibitors may rent a max of (5) shelves per company, (1) shelf per category
Just 4 Kids  For those showcasing innovative products/services geared towards children. 
On-The-Go  For innovative products/services that make it easier for consumers to eat healthier while on-the-go or at home. 
Certified Organic For innovative products/services marketed as organic 
Floral For innovative floral products/services (refrigeration is not available in this category)


Eligibility Requirements

  1. Your company must be a 2017 Fresh Summit exhibitor
  2. Your product, product line, or service must have been introduced since the 2016 show.
  3. Space is limited to (1) shelf per exhibiting company per “section” (5 shelves max). If renting multiple sections, different products/services must be displayed in each

How to Win Best Overall Product Promo

Our Best of Show Judges and Retail Panel will review the online listings, on-site displays, and in-booth promotional efforts to determine top finalists and a panel of retailers will review and select the winner. All Fresh Ideas Showcase participants are automatically entered into this contest. Learn about prizes and judging criteria. 

  • Take the time to put together an informative online listing that generated excitement about your product
  • Get creative with your showcase display. Standout shelves in 2016 incorporated multimedia, eye-catching graphics, vibrant colors, enticing messages, and invites to the booth.  
  • Don’t forget to not only show / demo the new product or service in your booth, but also highlight the fact that you have a new product with signage and graphic. This helps to draw people in that might not have stopped, as well as remind visitors who may have seen your showcase that you have something new and exciting to talk about. How to Win Best Packaging Promo

Best Packaging Promo is a new award that recognizes innovative ways that packaging is used to market fresh produce and floral to consumers and potential buyers. This contest is only open to Fresh Ideas Showcase participants, and there is no additional fee to enter. However, companies must notify PMA if they want to be considered for this award category. 

In addition to the criteria for Best Overall Product Promo, our judges and panel of buyers will review each eligible shelf and evaluate:
  • interest/appeal/differentiation of packaging on the store shelf
  • novel presentation that supports product sales/consumption
  • promotional efforts that drive greater sales
