The two-day Listeria monocytogenes Intervention & Control Workshops are designed specifically for the produce industry. Hosted by PMA and United Fresh the Listeria Workshops bring together attendees from various food companies, including growers, shippers, packers, retailers, suppliers and food safety consultants in the fresh produce industry.
During these two-day programs, attendees will learn from FDA, academia, and industry experts during general sessions focusing on:
- sanitary design,
- sanitation best practices,
- environmental monitoring, and more.
The agenda includes breakout sessions, panel discussions, and case studies. There is also an evening networking session with table top displays.
Attendees include those from packinghouse and fresh-cut operation’s quality assurance, food safety, sanitation, production, operations, maintenance and/or engineering staff member.

Cancellation and Other Policies:
Cancellations must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the start date of the training to be issued a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. Due to the unique nature and limited size of this course, cancellations made less than two weeks will not be issued a refund. Company substitutions are acceptable.
