PMA A-NZ Career Pathways Scholarship Program

Why Should Students Apply for the PMA A-NZ Career Pathways Program?

Mentoring
An industry mentor is assigned to each student to serve as an industry advisor, answer questions, introduce them to other industry professionals, and simply help them embrace the myriad of opportunities and rewards the produce industry has to offer.

Educational Sessions
Students attend conference sessions designed specifically for the fresh produce industry. Topics can include anything from consumer and industry trends, to supply chain issues to marketing, communications and social media so students can not only learn about topics of interest to them, but gain broad insight into the inner workings of the entire fresh produce supply chain.

Networking Opportunities
During the programs, students are given time to walk the trade show floors and meet industry professionals. Student may also be invited to attend industry networking events.

Student Engagement
Students are given pre-conference materials to help them prepare for the event and add more value to the learning experience. Each year, participants are required to complete a paper on an industry specific topic that includes excerpts from student conducted interviews of industry professionals as well as a recap of the experiences.
