2020 will no doubt be remembered as a year dominated by COVID-19. Throughout 2020 there was a consistent discussion theme centered around “things getting back to normal”.
Now here we are halfway through 2021 and the significant and unexpected mega driver of COVID-19 is still impacting the way we live, eat, travel, work and connect with each other.
Before we dig into the key trends and drivers that we see shaping the future of your industry it is important to note that while many industry events were paused and postponed through 2020 the flow of fresh produce to the marketplace continued.
