  • Membership Committee
    Helps build a stronger PMA community by engaging current members, attracting new members to the community, providing critical insights, and advocating on PMA’s behalf. In return, Membership Committee volunteers are handsomely rewarded and recognized for their support.

    Provides strategic, tactical and promotional guidance/support to ensure that Fresh Summit continues to meet the evolving needs of the fresh produce and floral community.
    Volunteer requirement: Must have attended and/or exhibited at Fresh Summit at least once or be currently registered to exhibit for the first time.

  • Foodservice Conference Committee
    Provides strategic, tactical and promotional guidance/support to the Foodservice Conference and its objectives to increase produce sales within the foodservice sector.
    Volunteer requirement: Must have attended Foodservice at least once.

    Works with PMA staff on one of three subgroups to develop strategies addressing critical issues in science and technology that may affect the global produce industry.

    Facilitates the development and use of global product identification standards for use within the produce industry. This includes PLU codes, generic and company specific UPCs, and DataBar.

    Ensures PMA and Center for Growing Talent are in good fiscal health, and the Board of Directors' policies and strategic priorities are reflected in the annual budgets.
