U.S. Economy Growing but Slowing - Beleaguered by Inflation and High Interest Rates

Economic conditions for the beginning of 2023 are like the conditions that prevailed during the fourth quarter of 2022. The economy is in a late business cycle expansion that includes ongoing inflation, slowing of production and a tightening of monetary and financial conditions.
